Solo Juventus, all day, every day since 2001.... |

| An Idea |
Cast your mind back to 5th May 2002....... Despite an early run of poor form that included 6 weeks without a victory, Juventus Club S.p.A (to give them their full title) were going into the final day of the 2001/02 scudetto campaign with a chance to secure their first league title in 3 seasons.
The side from Turin knew that even if they won at home against Udinese, victory for Inter away at Lazio would hand their rivals the title. It was set to be on the most dramatic final days Serie A had ever seen and a young Juve fan from the UK had a decision to make. He had followed the club for many years through the fantastic coverage on Channel 4 and it's 'Football Italia' show but he wanted more. There were a host of Juventus sites on the net offering regular updates and news on the team had come to adore but they, of course, were all in Italian.
And so, on that amazing final day, an idea was born but it's inception would be left in the lap of the Gods - If Juventus won the Serie A title, the Juve supporter would put his limited coding skills to use and construct a site offering the latest Juventus news in English; If they lost, he'd drink a bottle of Barbaresco and forget the whole crazy idea. |

| Beginnings |

As he sat in front of his computer screen, his head still sore, his finger bandaged, the Juve supporter ran over the impossible events of that final day - Trezeguet had put Juventus ahead in the space of just 2 minutes and just a few minutes later, a diminutive wizard, a veritable sorcerer of sorts had given Juventus a second. Inter, meanwhile, were drawing level in the capital as the first half came to a close, their destiny still in their own hands and yet, it wasn't to last. Diego Simeone gave Lazio the lead in the 55th minute before Simone Inzaghi heaped even more misery on the Nerazzurri by adding a fourth in the 73rd minute; Juventus won the title on the final day of the Serie A season 2001/02 and shortly after, this site was born.
At first, the idea was to keep the site as simple as possible. Juvefc.com would focus on the news from Italy concerning Juventus FC and the domestic and European matches they played. But after just a few weeks it became all too apparent: It wasn't enough. In the following year, the site expanded to include news of the players, pictures, wallpapers, stats, past greats, Mp3 clips, videos, profiles and just about everything else associated with the mighty Bianconeri. |

Despite copious redesigns, the clubs demotion to Serie B, legal action, assorted attacks from spammers and dwindling visitors the site is still here. We continue to try and offer a place for all Juventini to come and exchange their views and opinions on the worlds greatest club.
The site, by and large, is still the work of one man, Rav Dhillon, who can often be found here. If you'd like to write and article or share your thoughts on the site, please feel free to contact me here |
