The agent of Daniele Rugani insists Juventus haven’t entertained any offers for his client, despite his lack of playing time.

The 23-year-old started the season brightly but has spent much of the last few months on the bench, given the strong performances from Medhi Benatia and Giorgio Chiellini, but agent Davide Torchia  isn’t concerned.

Speaking to RadioVS, the agent confirmed that Juve have no interest of parting with Rugani while also clarifying that he is not the representative of Ghanaian full-back Kwado Asamoah.

“Daniele played often at the start of the season, then he suffered due to the turnover. At this beginning of the year he had a terrible flu that debilitated him, but as of today he is okay.

“Juve have so many good defenders and some maybe stronger than Daniele, so he knows that he must be found ready. Today, the older goalkeepers are able to excel over the younger ones.

“Rugani to be sold by Juventus?  If other teams asked [about him] it means he is a strong player, but Juve have never considered these requests, they know well they have a jewel in the house.

“Rugani at 23, is in the national team and contributes to the victories of Juve. Many great defenders of the past at his age were not at these levels.

“Juventus work in an excellent way: Two Champions Finals in three years for an Italian team is top class.

“Asamoah? I don’t know why everyone says I’m Asamoah’s agent, but i’m not. Let’s clarify this. He’s a nice guy and a great player. “
