Juventus coach Max Allegri has once again confirmed “there is absolutely no truth” to reports he will join Chelsea in the summer.

Reports in both the English and Italian press have continually linked the Juve boss to a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer but Allegri has clarified his position for the third time in the space of a week.

“There is absolutely no truth in what is being said,” Allegri told Tuttomercatoweb.

“I cannot confirm or deny every story that comes out, as I can’t control what is written in the papers, nor do anything about it.

“I want this story to be over and done with now. I’ve been studying English since my time at Cagliari. I do it for me.

“I cannot confirm or deny something that just isn’t true. We want to focus and reach the end of the season with a trophy.”

Turning his attention to the Serie A title clash against Napoli this weekend, Allegri weighed up his teams chances.

“Every Coach has his characteristics. We are doing well, but we haven’t achieved anything yet. We’re fighting with Napoli and the teams behind us can still get into the race.

“We’re second in Serie A and have to play the Champions League Round of 16 and Coppa Italia semi-final, so there’s a long way to go yet.”
