Former Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo believes the current Bianconeri team can eliminate Barcelona in the Champions League.
Speaking from the US, Pirlo talked about the upcoming Quarter Final between Juventus and Barcelona in the Champions League ad gave his own thoughts on the Bianconeri squad.
“It will be a different challenge compared to two years ago.” Pirlo told Sport.es
“Juventus has changed and there is another Barcelona team [compared to 2015].
“In addition, this time Juve won’t be playing in a final, but an elimination round which will cover 180 minutes, in which i think we will see some good football.
“Juve have a very strong team and if you want to reach the final you have to play against the best.
“I don’t think that Juve is a team under construction, they have great players and are trying to find the right balance to meet four strikers.
“This Juve has the capacity to eliminate Barcelona.”
