Sky Italia, Tuttosport and a number of other Italian news outlets are reporting that Arturo Vidal could be on the verge of a move to Bayern Munich.
Details are still sketchy at this early stage, but Juventus have reportedly asked Bayern for Mario Götze in exchange for Vidal.
Chilean paper La Cuarta originally reported that the Chilean midfielder had already agreed a contract with the German giants, but Juventus were yet to agree terms for a transfer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia are also reporting that a deal could be close, with Vidal being the ideal replacement for Bastian Schweinsteiger who recently joined Manchester United.
Differing reports suggest the Bianconeri may opt for a player exchange or a fee may agreed, close to the €45m mark. It’s reported that Vidal would earn close to €6.5m per season with the German champions.

I’d say 45m is a perfect price. You can’t forget he’s 28 and has had consistent knee injuries this past year or so. His aggressive play style is only going to aggravate his knee problems even more. Think about it, there’s a pretty big chance he’ll get injured for a part of next season.
35 mill for Gotze but in this market your probably looking around the 50 mill also due to young age

We neeed players that can play in a 433 and 4-3-1-2 formation

Say all this is true… Is be crush but our midfield is stacked with talent. Marchisio, Pereyra, Pogba, Khedira ans Sturaro. We ll be fine. But im nothing less then 60 mill and definitely nothing lower than 50. He just came off an insane season with us and won the copa america.

After Del Piero departure, i lost that attachment to players and i only have ot for Marchisio, so i honestlt wouldnt care much if Vidal left, but if he were to go, it should be for far more than 35-40 mill, especially co sideeong bayern are a european rival.
I know what you mean with the Del Piero part, I lost a lot of bonding with the players too, but Vidal is one I liked a lot, his non-stop, no bullshit way of playing is something we’ll miss badly.
Fortunately the Principino will continue to please us with his plays, I’m hoping Morata will grow to be the new Del Piero for me, I like him a lot but we need certainty that he will stay

Everyone said he peaked last year then he had a great second half of the season once he recovered from injury. Everyone says that he will start to decline so sell him for way less than he should be going for in this market. Absolutely insane. Vidal was the reason that we beat RM in the CL. 4.3 tackles/ game in the CL almost 2 more than anyone else and he was playing CAM!! People who say this is a good move are being ridiculous. He is our engine in the midfield and an adored player in the locker room. I don’t like this one bit but I’m trying not to believe it until it is over.

If he leaves, Khedira is the most suited replacement I think, at least defensively. I hope someone else will motorboost the team when we need it, like Vidal does. No matter where and when, that guy works his ass off
Exactly. He is sprinting around the field for 90 minutes and there is no other player in the world that does what he does to the same extent. Plus our 3 mids will be Marchisio Pogba and Khedira and if one of them goes down then the drop to the first sub will be pretty substantial. We need 4 WC mids if we want to repeat last year

Well this is a disaster. Although I do think Sturaro can cover for Vidal and Khedira is good back-up for the midfield with Pogba, Marchisio and Pereyra… It isn’t the worst case tactically but it bad because Vidal seemed like a long term Juventino. I guess long term means 4-5 years these days… I’d hate to see him in any other jersey though…
