Juventus are being linked with a move for promising young Ajax centre-back Matthijs De Ligt with reports suggesting he has already visited Turin.

Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus took advantage of Holland playing Italy at the Juve stadium in order to further scout the 18-year-old Dutch international.

Writing on his website, Gianluca Di Marzio suggests that the Bianconeri have taken advantage of the friendly match in order to sound out the possibility of a future transfer.

Di Marzio also reports that the De Ligt was given a tour of the clubs training grounds by the Juve directors, however it’s been suggested that he has previously visited the club as well at an earlier date.

Juventus are evaluating their defensive options for the season ahead and may make a bid later this summer.
