Arsenal will meet with Palermo for Paulo Dybala but reports in the Italian media suggest the player wants to join Juventus.

The Gunners are known to have been following the 21-year-old Argentine for some time, while Manchester United are reported to have already made an initial offer of €40m to Palermo for the player.

Arsenal are said to be stepping up their interest in the talented forward with a meeting scheduled between Palermo and the north-London side in the next few days.

According to transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the two sides are scheduled to meet in Milan on Wednesday or Thursday but it may come to nothing. Di Marzio is also reporting that Dybala has a firm intention to stay in Italy for the foreseeable future and wants to join Juventus.

While Palermo president president Maurizio Zamparini has insisted that he wants at least €40m for Dybala, Juve director Beppe Marotta will try and lower the price by including the Bianconeri’s half of Edoardo Goldaniga, the Italy Under-21 international defender currently co-owned by the two clubs.

Dybala has been the revelation of Serie A this season, scoring 12 Serie A goals and providing eight assists.
