Reports from some Italian papers suggest Juventus have reached an agreement with Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

The slightly dubious report from Turin based Tuttosport suggests that their German sources say Can is already a Juventus player and that all that’s remaining is to agree a deal with Liverpool for the German international.

As Nemanja Matic looks set to join Manchester United, CorSport report that Can was always the main target for the Bianconeri.

With the 23-year-old’s contract set to expire next summer and no extension agree as yet, the reports suggest that Juve will make a big offer for Can, in the region of €25 – €35m, a player they see as a successor to German midfielder Sami Khedira.

There’s a suggestion that if Juve can’t land their man this summer, they may agree terms so that they might sign him for free in 2018.
