rafinha Rafinha (DF) {Schalke}
Consistently linked with a move to Turin, the Schalke full-back looked poised to leave the Germans in the summer but a move never materialsed. He's since declared 'Juventus and Real Madrid are great clubs' leading to speculation that Juve will fight it out with the Spanish giants for the his signature. Juve have made no secrets of their desire for a long term replacement for Zebina but at what cost ? After shelling out £50m in the summer, a further £10m seems on the high side but any betting man will tell you, never say never.
  Rumour Rating : The player seems to want a move and the Schalke look ready to sell - 3/5 stars

rafinha Cristian Ledesma (MF) {Lazio}
Having incurred the wrath of the Biancocelesti faithful by essentially freezing himself out of the squad, Ledesma looks 90% certain to leave the capital along side contract rebel Goran Pandev. Rumours suggest Juventus will go toe to toe with Napoli to sign the Argentine, but having spent heavily on two midfielder's, do Juve need another? £5 million seems to be the figure Juve will offer but with other clubs on the look out, Lazio can afford to hold out.
  Rumour Rating : Ledesma looks set to leave Lazio, but only if the price is right - 2/5 stars

rafinha Andrea Ranocchia (DF) {Bari}
Juventus have been linked with Ranocchia since early this season following a fine series of displays at the back for Bari, notching up 3 goals to boot. The Genoa man looks set to stay at the Stadio San Nicola for the remainder of this season but is viewed as a long term prospect by the Bianconeri boardroom. The asking price seems steep at £14 million, but with Cannavaro nearing retirement, Juventus may need to make the investment sooner rather than later.
  Rumour Rating : A bright prospect with Serie A experience included- Juve may take a punt - 3/5 stars

rafinha Juan Camilo Zuniga (DF) {Napoli}
After a bright start in Serie A with Siena, Zuniga's star has faded somewhat since joining Napoli. Average displays at right back have led to speculation that a swap deal is on the cards, with Juventus sending Paolo De Ceglie to Naples in exchange. The players agent was recently quoted as saying “I don't deny that Juventus like him, but for now Zuniga is a Napoli player. " Any football betting man will tell you, agents' comments can often mean the exact opposite !
  Rumour Rating : Unlikely to leave before summer and by then, Juventus may have their man - 2/5 stars
div
rafinha Fernando Gago (MF) {Real Madrid}
Juventus were said to be close to signing Gago in the summer, only for Secco to sign Felipe Melo instead. With Tiago still not performing, Melo yet to find his best and Momo on his way to the African Cup of Nations, Juventus may look again at loaning the Real Madrid midfielder with an eye to a permanent move. The Argentine holds an Italian passport and would relish the chance of some first team football having played just 4 games this season.
  Rumour Rating : With Juve's current midfield woes, Gago could provide valuable cover - 3/5 stars
div
rafinha Simon Kjaer (DF) {Palermo}
The bird may well have flown when it comes to the talented Dane - Kjaer is now being targeted by various clubs across Europe, not least Manchester City where new boss Roberto Mancini is looking to patch up a leaky defence. Juventus were keen to sign the talented Dane in the summer but Palermo were reluctant to part with their new star. A deal now looks tricky as Palermo can hold out for the best possible offer. Perhaps Juve should have acted sooner ?
  Rumour Rating : Palermo will hold on to their star until the last minute (and the right figure) 2/5 stars
