Juventus could bring in Radamel Falcao for their Champions League campaign, according to reports in Italy.

The Colombian striker has made just 3 starts for Manchester United this season, having joined on loan from Monaco and is only now returning from his latest injury woes.

Italian website Calciomercato.com are reporting that United are looking to get the forwards’ €12m salary off the books and Juventus could step in to cover half that amount. With Champions League qualification now assured, Juventus could pay €6m to make a six-month loan move to Turin.

Juventus were linked to the striker during the summer but his salary was believed to be a stumbling block during negotiations. Falcao has a contract with Monaco until the summer of 2018, however but his injury concerns have left the French club looking to recover some of his €50m transfer fee.
