Juventus could begin their summer by signing Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa, having already begun negotiations for the player.
According to Spanish paper ‘Libero’, the Brazilian winger has already spoken with Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti and expressed his intention to leave the club this summer having featured mainly from the bench this season.
Juve have been following the player closely and the report suggests that the Bianconeri have already begun negotiations for the 26-year-old who could complete a move for anything up to €25m.
Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly interested in the player but given Juve’s strong relations with the German champions following the transfers of Kingsley Coman, Medhi Benatia and Arturo Vidal, the Bianconeri may have an edge over the competition.

25m for this guy would be great .
Another Marotta steal. If he reaches last year level.
he had some injuries over the season.
it’s a bit to good to be true f you ask me
we sold them Vidal for more than fair price, Coman too, so it would be cool from them to sell us Costa for fair price.
hmm got a point. Would he really be better than Keita though? I think i prefer Keita.
When we faced them last year he was very dangerous i’d say.I see him as more complete player then Keita.Im not sure about this guy, plus his attitude … but, every one can change. However, Costa already knows what it means to play for Top club, while Keita has yet to prove it.Costa’ first season at Bayern 7 goals and 18! assists. Not bad from guy that came from ukrainian league.
any idea why Ancelotti benched him? he has hardly played this season, That is what is really leaving me to value his worth. Not to mention they are flat out looking for a replacement in Julian Brandt, and Julian Brandt is more hype than skill if you ask me
he wasnt benched, but injuries troubled him this season.few hamstring and knee injuries.but still managed to play almost 2000 minutes.
The Coman deal was financially all but complete when Coman left Juventus, and on that day, 28m for Coman was a great piece of business for Juventus.
25m would be perfect and if Beppe and co pull off this deal for that price, then they become legend.
Having Costa would be an upgrade on the flanks, he can take over the right wing and we have Pjaca on the left, while still having Cuadrado for freshness off the bench. Juve’s becoming the most astute business football club in the world and what a time to be Bianconero!
I think 25M is far to cheap, There will be some big strings attached if it ends up costing 25M.
Also I think Keita would do better in the flank than Costa, Keita has strength and stature, which Costa doesn’t, They both are good dribblers, and they are both quick.
i don’t see Keita as a good fit for this club, remember Elia? he has the Ballotelli kinda attitude, one act away from disaster… Costa or some other promising winger not Berrardi
No way Bayern sells him that cheap, he’s going to cost at least $35 million base price. The team is being linked with allot of players, let’s see what actually materializes. Not sure I’d take tolisso over costa but the age gap is eye catching.
but they aren’t the same position. However in that case i still would Much rather take Tolisso over Costa, Just because Mandzukic is doing fine in LM and Tolisso just brings much more to the team than Costa. Also if we sign Tolisso, we would also likely sign Keita, But if we get Costa there would be no reason to sign Keita.
I agree with the price, if he indeed comes for 25M there will be big strings attached. Im thinking another Loan, or a player plus the cash.
