Juventus have virtually completed a deal for Atalanta players Franck Kessie and Mattia Caldara.

According to a report in La Stampa, Juventus directors Fabio Paratici and Beppe Marotta spoke with Atalanta representatives yesterday and completed the specifics for a transfer deal.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the duo will meet with Atalanta again next Tuesday to complete the deal, paying 25m and a further 5m in bonuses.

Juventus are believed to have beaten off interest from Inter Milan and their owners The Suning group, who were prepared to match the offer, along with Premier League side Liverpool who showed an interest.

Both players are expected to arrive at the club next summer.
