Reports from Italy suggest that Juventus are closely following Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini with an eye to a summer move.

The 21-year-old is considered one of the brightest prospects in Italian football having come through the youth ranks at Roma, before impressing at Sassuolo in a two-year stint where he netted nine goals in forty seven appearances.

According to RAI Sport, Bianconeri directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici have followed Pellegrini since his time at Sassuolo and are prepared to pay the 25m required to activate his release clause.

The report goes on to suggest the Bianconeri will pay the amount in two installments and they will offer the youngster a salary in the region of 3.5m per season.
