Juventus met with Danilo’s agent in Milan today, however a move for the right-back would effectively end all interest in Douglas Costa.
Having confirmed the departure of Dani Alves, Juve need to find a replacement in the full-back position and Sky Sport Italia report that Danilo’s agent was pictured with Juve’s directors in Milan.
The 25-year-old Brazilian is considered one of three possible targets for Juve and the Bianconeri are reported to have had three meetings with his representatives.
Juve are also considering Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian and Monaco’s Fabinho, however Juve are only able to sign one more player with a non-EU passport this season.
A move for Fabinho and Danilo would rule out a move for Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa.
I haven’t seen much from Danilo, so I find it hard to form an opinion on the guy. I hope for the Costa deal to go through, but if it doesn’t, maybe Danilo isn’t all that bad? I remember Real signing him for a substantial fee, but I really don’t know the player. Is he as bad as many people seem to judge him or is it just hysteria because he isn’t touted as the next big thing?
He is not that bad, he is a decent RB, the point is Costa is a fantastic Winger which we should sign for sure. For RB position there are other options: Darmian, Di Sciglio, Lirola, Conti … It’s stupid to lose Costa for Danilo. I don’t want to see any full back as a winger!
Rather berna and keita than Costa .. So Danilo is good for me … But why we don’t chase conti .. THE deal with Milan is not done and love his speed
