Juventus midfielder Kingsley Coman has confirmed he will stay at the club next season rather than being sent out on loan.

Intital reports from assorted Italian papers had linked the Frenchman with a move Bologna, Sassuolo and a host of other Serie A sides.

Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Italia both suggested that Juventus had turned down a €14m offer from Bayern Munich for the player.

“I’ve spoken with the directors, and a loan is not the best solution for my development,” Coman told French newspaper L’Equipe.

“Last season was positive for me, I’d like to have played more, but I don’t regret leaving [PSG]. I had a positive season at Juve, even if I’ll be happier when I can play 60 games a season.”
