Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini looks set to be the first signing for Juventus this summer.

The Bianconeri have been pursuing the player for most of the season, and recent reports from Gazzetta Dello Sport suggested that the club were prepared to pay his release clause.

RAI Sport journalist Ciro Venerato reports tonight that a deal between the club and the player is done and Pellegrini is looking ever more likely to join Juventus in June:

“Lorenzo Pellegrini to Juventus is practically done, the Roma midfielder is promised to the Bianconeri, the operation will be defined at the start of the market, there seems to be no more doubts.” [RAI via TuttoJuve.com]

Pellegrini has made 31 appearances in all competitions for Roma this season, scoring three goals.
