Manchester United have made an €80m bid for Paul Pogba to join them in summer, according to La Stampa.
La Stampa journalist Massimiliano Nerozzi tweeted earlier today that the English club had made an offer to Juventus by way of the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, who was spotted at the Bianconeri headquarters in Vinovo yesterday.
According to the report, Pogba is the subject of a bidding war between Manchester rivals City and United with PSG in the background while Real Madrid are not thought to be interested in the French midfielder.
La Stampa also suggest a move to United would earn Pogba wages close to €9m, a significant rise on his current €4.5m salary at Juventus.
Tuttosport also report on the meeting and suggest a bid in the region of €90-100m for Pogba was discussed, but also on the agenda was Borussia Dortmund’s Mkhitaryan who Juventus are pressing to sign. Dortmund, however, are blocking the move given their €27.5m investment in the player.

Nope, not enough Utd, try harder if you want him, a bidding war is exactly what we need IF we sell Pogba. I’d push it to 100mill before I’d sell Pogba.
Also Dortmund, you’re not going to get that 27.5mill back for Mkhitaryan, nobody is going to pay that

Hopefully we have him until euro 16 and he does awesome. then sell him for 150m and buy some studs. Although I would definitely love to see him stay with us for a long time
i hope we can keep him until after euro 16 and then we bring back deschamps who can in turn convince pogba to stay longer. we should build our team around pogba. berardi, rugani, coman etc are great and pogba has everything it takes to become a leader.
I hope to see a lot of our own youth players in our first team in the coming seasons. Leali, Rugani, Masi, Berardi, Zaza, Padovan, Beltrame and so forth, partnered with exciting youth like Coman, Pogba, Marrone and man I’m thrilled already. Add some more possible signings like say Murru and thats a potential dream team

Any youngster would be a surprise, but I hope some of them make it. So many other options like Cevallos, Bouy and so on, I don’t think we’ll ever see them in a Juve shirt
Oh come on. Every day a new Pogba rumour. Juve does not need to sell him or any of their players. Juve will keep him exactly as long as Pogba wants to stay. Period. When he says he wants to leave, Juve and his agent will make a deal to get the most out of him on the market.
Every rumour about him (or Vidal for that matter) leaving is pure BS.
Ofc it is, but the English newspapers need something to write about!
Well, how about their youth system or performance in international tournaments?
