Juve coach Max Allegri reflected on his side’s Champions League final performance while revealing his appreciation of Chelsea’s Oscar.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, th Bianconeri tactician gave an honest interview about his ambitions for next season while also revealing some possible summer transfer targets.

“We mustn’t think about results, but instead improving ourselves,” Allegri said.

“We have the usual objectives – Scudetto, Coppa Italia and I dream about the Champions League going forward.

“The primary objective is to make history by recording a fifth consecutive Scudetto – Juve only managed that in the 1930s and it was another world then.

“The final was a great game, one of the best European finals of the last few years, but we were missing a little conviction.

“The tears of our players weren’t saying ‘who knows how long it’ll be before we’re here again’ but ‘we really could’ve beaten Barcelona and didn’t manage to’”.

Asked if Juve can dominate European football again, Allegri was honest about the teams chances in the future.

“If we have the right young players, why not?

“People like Dybala can help construct a cycle.

“To be at the top in Europe you need the right mentality and the right key players.

“We agree at the club – we need experienced players who can help the younger ones develop.”

Allegri was also asked about the future of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.

“If we must sell Morata, I’d hope that the club takes in at least €70-80m as that is his true value,” he said.

“I think we must look to him and also to  Coman, who is another youngster with exceptional quality.

“It’s true that I asked for a number ten.

“I like Oscar a lot. He’s a player who can make the difference on the European stage as well, which is great as it’s not a given that a great league player can perform in Europe.

“I like him, but I also like Isco, Pastore, Di Maria and Kroos.

“There aren’t many centre forwards in circulation. Mandzukic, Higuain…not many others.

“Mandzukic would be a good element to help relaunch our attack. The contract isn’t a formality, but there is the desire to go forward together.”

Allegri turned his attention to Paul Pogba and Carlos Tevez, two players whose futures are in doubt.

“This is a club decision and not a managerial one, but certainly it’s hard to say no to some figures.

“But if Paul stays he must do so with the right attitude and without regret, because what we’ve achieved this season is only the beginning.

“It’s up to Tevez whether to stay or not. But I repeat that whoever stays must know that the work for next season will be even more intense.”
