Cagliari striker Alessandro Matri insists that he is flattered by interest from Turin giants Juventus.
The 25-year-old equaled Gigi Riva's record earlier this season, scoring in seven straight games for the Sardi.
He has 10 goals to his name this season and is widely regarded as one of the brightest attacking talents in Italy.
Speaking to Tuttosport, Matri said: “I am flattered by interest from a great team like Juventus.
“But now I am only concentrating on Cagliari.”
Juventus are in the market for a striker this summer, as David Trezeguet looks to be on his way out.
The Bianconeri's vice-general manager Roberto Bettega is keen to add to the club's Italian contingent.
He has been heavily linked with a bid for Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini. |
