The agent of Genoa defender Domenico Criscito believes his client will move permanently from Juventus in exchange for Raffaele Palladino.
Both players are part-owned by the two clubs and that arrangement is once again up for discussion this summer.
Juventus tried to bring Palladino back to Turin during the January transfer window, but having already sold two strikers, Genoa were reluctant to negotiate.
It now appears the Bianconeri have upped the ante, offering all of Criscito's rights in exchange for Palladino's contract.
Speaking to calciomercato.it, Sandro Gedda said: “Genoa believe in Criscito. My sensation is that their principal objective is that of negotiating with him.
“Around a month ago, something moved and it seemed that there could be an exchange of part-ownership between the two clubs with Palladino going permanently to Juventus and Criscito to Genoa.
“Then, talks were scaled back, but the implication was in that direction. The two clubs have postponed any talks seeing that there is still a long way to go until the end of the season.” |
