Bari Coach Giampiero Ventura has once again expressed his desire to sign Juventus midfield playmaker Sebastian Giovinco.
The Atomic Ant looks as though he'll be leaving Turin this summer in a bid to find the regular first team football he feels he deserves.
Giovinco played just 581 minutes for Juventus last season and there is great scepticism that he'll get more opportunities under Gigi Del Neri over the next nine months.
Ventura feels Giovinco would be better served plying his trade elsewhere.
“I believe that if Juve intend to revive Giovinco they should entrust him to Bari,” Ventura said.
“If he wants to cash in then he should choose other teams. It's not our problem.”
Ventura has proven himself to be incredibly adept at bringing through young players at Bari.
Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Ranocchia thrived under his coaching last season. |
