It is now official that Juventus have sold Christian Poulsen to Liverpool for nearly €6m.
The negotiations between the two clubs had been concluded for around a week, while the Dane has now agreed personal terms as well.
A statement on the official Juventus website confirmed the sale for €5.475m – payable in two instalments to be completed by July 1, 2011 – plus €1.2m in performance-related bonuses.
Poulsen leaves Turin after two seasons and effectively frees up Javier Mascherano to leave Anfield.
Juve are also expected to sell Mauro Camoranesi and Fabio Grosso to Birmingham City this week. |
