Anyone else bored yet ? There's not too much to report on, but here's a summary of the days news...

Juve monitor Lukaku

Juventus are amongst a number of clubs monitoring Anderlecht's promising striker Romelu Lukaku. The talented 17 years old scored 15 goals in 25 league games last season. Speaking to Calciomercato.it, his agent Henrotay said: “It's true that Juventus and Inter are following him, although there is nothing concrete and no offers have been put on the table.

“Romelu is being followed by all the big European clubs. I think it's a normal thing seeing he is 17 and has already shown that he can do great things.

“In the past we received an offer that we didn't consider interesting. We'll see what will happen in January or in June.

“I think it's probable that he'll leave in the summer, but you never know in football. Anderlecht know that they have a great player and would like to keep him for as long as possible.

“At the same time, they are realistic and know very well that if an important offer were to arrive the best thing for everyone would be to sell him.”

Juve look to Benzema

Juventus are almost certain to sign a new striker in the January transfer window following their failure to sign to Edin Dzeko in the summer. The primary candidate, according to Tuttosport, is Real Madrid Karim Benzema. Given the Frenchman's falling out with Jose Mourinho, reports indicate the player will be available for as little 15m Euros. Click here to read more

Ferrara would have kept Diego

The former Bianconeri defender has this to say: “There is an argument to be made between the technical and financial side of things. The distance with respect to Del Neri's ideas was evident. But I would have given him another chance.” Click here to read more
