**Update ** - Officially official: Marcelo Estigarribia has moved on loan to Juventus with a €5m option to buy.
Juventus have stepped up their transfer activity in the last day by completing the transfer of Emanuele Giaccherini while Marcelo Estigarribia is on the verge of joining the club on loan.
Giaccherini has arrived in Turin and put pen to paper in a co-ownership deal worth €3m plus Jorge Martinez on a free loan.
Meanwhile, Marcelo Alejandro Estigarribia has stated:
“I’ll sign for a Serie A club. I’ll be playing in Italy. I’ve been asked to not name the club before everything has been agreed. My agents are already in the country to finalise everything and I know the nature of the contract. I’ll arrive on loan with the option to buy.”
The loan is though to cost Juventus €450,000, while the option to buy clause is reportedly set at €5m. |
