Storari on the verge of new deal
Marco Storari is on the verge of penning a new deal with Juventus to tie him to the club until at least 2014. While the deal is yet to be confirmed, more information is available here
Amauri to move in January
....but then we've heard that before. However, this time round, his agent has commented on his clients lack of opportunities in Turin. “He thought that he’d find some space in the team, but that has not been the case,” agent Giampiero Pocetta told footmercato.fr. “He’ll certainly leave Juventus and the situation will become a lot clearer in the next six weeks,” he added. “A move to France? We’ll certainly listen to and consider all offers that we receive.”
Ticket Sales
Current projections suggest that the new stadium has been a resounding success for the Bianconeri with Juventus earning €4.2m following their first 3 games at home, compared with the €1.2m earned last season. If Juventus continue at this rate, the expected turnover at the end of the season would be €27m which would mean an increase of almost €15m from the previous season.
Juve title hopes
Following the hard fought victory over Milan, many Juve players were quick to dismiss the teams title chances. Mirko Vucinic, Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Barzagli all went on the record to say it was too early to talk of a title challenge which Gigi went as far as to say Milan were still the likely favourites. Meanwhile, senile Palermo owner, Maurizio Zamparini went one step further, suggesting Napoli are the strongest side in Serie A at the moment. |
