Tuttosport amongst others are reporting that Juve are in advanced negotiation's for Udinese's Kwadwo Asamoah and Mauricio Isla. The Turin based daily were quick to follow up on reports earlier today linking Juventus to the midfielder and right back, however Udinese's sporting director Fabrizio Larini was quick to dismiss the idea:
“I can categorically deny the claim this affair can be considered a done deal. I won’t deny there are some advanced negotiations and that Juventus are very interested in the two players, but I can rule out the idea this operation is concluded, especially as both of them are currently on the other side of the world. The problem is not the formula of sales, especially as if we were to reach an agreement, then it would be for a permanent sale.”
**** UPDATE *****
Initial reports have now been confirmed by sources close to the club (Claudio Zuliani) and Asamoah himself (journalist Gary Al-Smith). There's no official confirmation from the club yet or any indication of salary or figures, but the reports look solid. Asamoah himself hinted at a potential move earlier today when he tweeted:
“Hi guys. Training is S.A. is going well. Playing the African Champions Zambia this weekend then back to Europe to sort some things " |
