Juventus have officially confirmed the arrival of Marko Pjaca on a five-year contract.

The Croatian winger will cost the Bianconeri €23m, joining from Dinamo Zagreb amid strong interest from Liverpool and AC Milan. According to various reports in Italy, the players desire to join Juventus played an important part in the transfer process.

A visit to the JMedical centre was quickly followed by a contract signing and his presentation via the clubs official website. A statement confirmed the details of the deal:

“Juventus Football Club can today confirm that Marko Pjaca has completed a permanent switch from Dinamo Zagreb for a fee of €23 million, to be paid over two financial years. The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the club.”

Pjaca is not expected to join the team on their tour of Australia, taking a weeks’ vacation before joining pre-season training at Vinovo on 28th July.
