Crotone have confirmed that Rolandro Mandragora has joined then on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old midfielder suffered an injury that kept him out for much of last season, limiting him to just one appearance in the senior squad, meaning he would inevitably be loaned out for the 2017/18 campaign.

Crotone, who were linked with him yesterday, have confirmed the signing of the talented young midfielder on a season-long loan where he’ll be coached by Davide Nicola

Mandragora was part of the Genoa youth team set up before finally making his debut for the senior team against Juventus in a 1-0 victory. He was eventually signed by the Bianconeri for €6m but that figure could rise to €12m with various performance related bonuses.

Despite suffering a fractured metatarsal, he went to recover and play a pivotal part in U-20 World Cup squad in South Korea where he featured in most of the matches.
