Paul Pogba wants to become the best midfielder in the world while declaring no one knows the truth about his future, except Juventus.
Speaking to Soccer 360 magazine, the French midfielder talked about the Champions League final, the future and his aims for the new season.
“I hear every rumours every day about me joining Barca or PSG … the truth is that nobody knows what I said to Juve” Pogba told the magazine.
“Losing in Berlin to Barcelona was really disappointing; All the players pushed hard to win it, but we could not do more, we can be really proud of ourselves.
“We know that we gave everything, Barcelona were simply better than us. The Blaugrana are incredible. We took them to 1-1, but when it mattered, they were able to find that little bit extra. That’s what separates them from the rest of Europe.
“Pirlo in tears? It was very emotional. Andrea has won everything but he was so upset to have missed out on the Champions League with Juventus. It would have been wonderful for him and for the club, but it went wrong.
“We are very proud of our Italian season. Winning one of the top leagues in Europe with 17 point lead is not common. We were very strong in the league this year, no one has come close to us in the standings; I’m satisfied with my season.
“I think I have become a better player, i’ve matured a lot. I’m working hard, but everything becomes easier when you have the opportunity to learn from the masters of football as Pirlo.
“If players like Andrea say I will become a top, then for me it’s just a great honor. I want to be the best midfielder in the world, I consider what he says as encouragement and not an element of additional pressure on me.
“As mentioned, I have learned a lot from Pirlo. But I’ve also seen a lot of games of Yaya Toure, who has a style of play similar to mine. I think the Ivorian player really helped me a lot to improve my game . “
Pogba also addressed the rumours about his future and the talk of a move away from Turin.
“The rumors are not important. I heard that Pogba will go here or go there, but the truth is that no one listens to the private conversations I have with my agent, my family, and Juventus. Rumors will always be there in football.
I want to be an important part of the national team, but it is a team game, and in France we have so many good players.
“The goals for next season? Winning trophies. This year I have won two, but hunger has not gone: I want many more. ”

Inter at it again with dirty tactics.
Fiorentina vice president called out inter on poaching Salah from them with Illegal funds.
“If football clubs were to respect transparency rules, then Inter would already have been relegated. Whose money is it being used, is it starting from the Cayman Islands?
“Michel Platini knows that Inter have broken the Uefa Fair Play rules. For Salah and other players who cost millions. This is the chance to make an example of them.”
How great would it be to see them fall to serie B never come back.

I usually hum that whenever I’m reading about Marotta getting some (for me) unknown young players. “I will travel across the land, Searching far and wide..”
I don’t expect anything surprising from the rest of the summer to be honest.
In my opinion….
We’ve already secured some really good players, and with our run in the CL, we are in a comfortable situation. If we had some players who doubted Juve’s potential in Europe, they got assured now, so they probably have less reason to leave.
We may sign some other players, but Marotta said “don’t expect stars” or something like this, so even if we sign someone, they’ll either be some decent SerieA players for backup, or experienced (fancy word for “around 30 years old”) players like Evra, or Tevez when they arrived here.
It looks like Ogbonna, Llorente and Isla will be sold this summer so maybe they raise more cash to make another move? I think we land either a TQ or FB before the mercato is over
Signing a big name trequartista would be nice, but I take Marotta’s words as he means we won’t spend a lot on a single player. We secured Pereyra, he could start in front of Pogba, Vidal, Marchisio.
Ogbonna can leave for all I care, there won’t be any room for him if Rugani comes back. For fullbacks we can use Caceres and Asamoah, they will be more than enough for Serie A games.
In my opinion Isla is really up to Allegri, if he impresses the staff, he may stay as a back up to Lichtsteiner.
I can also see Llorente staying, he could still be used as a sub of Mandzukic, and he could play in the league or cup games every now and then.
Llorente – He is our second highest earner which isn’t ok for a sub & cup starter. Also Sassuolo’s DS said that Zaza is a Juventus player and there’s only formalities left to deal with so I see him as Mandzu’s sub. Plus Nando could get us a decent sum on the market.
Isla – The Chile Isla is always better than when he plays for us. Even for QPR I think he was very mediocre so I don’t see him challenging Caceres and Licht for a starting spot. I say we cut our losses on him and try to get 8-10m.
Ogbonna – He had his chances this year and actually got a lot of minutes but still couldn’t prove to us that he is the real deal. So i say sell him to some EPL team where he can start every game and can prob shine more there than in Italy.
With all that there seems to be a lot of reports (Di Marzio & SKY) that we are going after Gerson from Fluminese for 20m which is a shit ton for such an inexperienced player. Maybe with those sales we can use that money to get a bigger name? But like you said Beppe is so straightforward when he talks and doesn’t beat around the bush so I wouldn’t hold my breath
