	Gianluigi Buffon	7.0	Still to find his best form between the sticks. An awkward punch and a wayward clearance but did well in moments when his defence let him down.


	Stephan Lichtsteiner	6.7	Another thoroughly solid performance from the right back. Covered his flank well and allowed Krasic the freedom to return his deadly best.

	Andrea Barzagli	7.0	First shaky performance of the season from the veteran centre back. Outpaced by Bergessio for Catania's opener but quickly atoned with some good work in defence.

	Giorgio Chiellini	4.8	Very nearly gifted a goal to David Suazo late on. Far from the 'Giorgio' that we have grown accustomed to. Partly to blame for Catania's goal.

	Fabio Grosso	4.8	Left for dead by Gomez on numerous occasions and simply poor defensively. He may be able to offer a cross or two, but overall, a liability in the back four.

	Andrea Pirlo	6.3	Stifled out of the game by some clever work by Catania and their coach, Montella. Lacked the freedom and space that typically sees him flourish.

	Milos Krasic	7.6	A return to the kind of sensational performances that Juventini saw at the start of last season. Scored Juve's equaliser and generally spearheaded ever Juve attack.

	Claudio Marchisio	6.1	Improved on last weeks showing and just outperformed Pirlo in the centre of the pitch.

	Eljero Elia	5.4	Wasteful on numerous occasions, showed poor control and generally looked out of his depth. On the plus side, it's only his first game for the club.

	Arturo Vidal	6.5	A typically hard working performance from the new signing. Missed some decent chances; perhaps better as an impact sub ?

	Alessandro Matri	5.7	Left isolated for large periods of the game. Catania's defence marshalled him well and a lack of service didn't help matters.
	Subs
	Fabio Quagliarella	N/A	Entered the game with less than 10 minutes to play. Hard to judge him as having him return to the pitch was the most important element of his cameo.

	Alessandro Del Piero	5.7	Wasn't really given the time to make an impact having come on for Matri late in the game.

	Simone Pepe	6.9	Another superb showing. Came on for Elia and was immediately a threat down the left flank. Delivered crosses, ran at defenders and generally worked his arse off !
