	Gianluigi Buffon	7.6	Another clean sheet for 'Superman'. Back to his absolute best, marshalling his defence as only he can. Essential to Juve's unbeaten run.


	Stephan Lichtsteiner	8.3	Scored the first goal of the game with a simply sublime header. Impeccable positioning and tackling to nullify the Atalanta attack.

	Andrea Barzagli	7.5	Week in, week out, the best defender in Serie A this season. Another typically solid display, great positioning and awareness.

	Giorgio Chiellini	8.5	Returned to the centre and was an absolute colossus in defence. Combined marking Denis with heading out every Atalanta cross. Imperious

	Paolo De Ceglie	7.5	Starting to show signs of becoming the left-back Juventini have always craved. Rarely tested defensively so he spent most of the game in the Atalanta half.

	Andrea Pirlo	7.9	Delivered a cross for the opener that should be in the Calcio hall of fame. Initiated attack after attack and was invaluable tonight. Imperious display.

	Claudio Marchisio	6.1	Failed to really get a foothold in the game and was subbed out at half time for Giaccherini.

	Arturo Vidal	7.1	Almost opened the scoring with a stunning shot that was tipped onto the crossbar. Mopped up the Atalanta attacks and hunted down every loose ball.

	Simone Pepe	6.2	Managed to find space on the wings and did his best with the chances he got. Injured and subbed in the second half.

	Mirko Vucinic	6.7	Improved on recent displays to deliver some decent crosses but once again failed to make a telling difference.

	Alessandro Matri	5.6	A terrible night for the striker. Should have had an early goal and continued to fluff his chances all night. Conceivably should have had at least a hat trick.
	Subs
	Emanuele Giaccherini	7.8	A telling substitution as his impact was almost instantaneous. Fired home a truly fantastic volley to guarantee Juve the win.

	Luca Marrone	7.7	Provided a sumptuous assist and almost had a goal himself. May well be the reason Juve have neglected to sign a new midfielder. A truly promising prospect.
