Carlos Tevez is on the verge of completing a move to Boca Juniors but its unclear how much Juve will ask for the player.

The first reports from Italy centred on a story from Mediaset who suggested Tevez has agreed a three-year deal with his boyhood club, Boca Juniors. Boca president Daniel Angelici flew to Chile to meet with the player earlier this week where he’s currently representing Argentina at the Copa America.

Mediaset reported that Juve are asking for €5m to let the player leave one year ahead of schedule, but it’s suggested Boca may try and use players in the exchange.

Juve director Pavel Nedved all but confirmed that the player is on his way out of the club in an interview earlier today.

“I think Tevez wants to go home,” he told DiMarzio.com,

“This year he has given so much, but he appears to have made his decision now. He gave a great deal in these seasons for Juve and this year practically never held back.”

Tevez played 96 games for Juventus scoring 50 goals in his two seasons at the club.
