Various newspapers in Italy report that Juventus have a deal in place for Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain.
The news broke late yesterday with Gazetta Dello Sport, Sky Sport Italia and a number of others reporting that the Bianconeri would be making a €75m bid for the striker.
Both Sky and Sportmediaset went a step further and suggested that the Argentinian international has already agreed a four-year contract with Juve, earning him €7.5m per season, but talks between the two clubs are yet to take place.
Sky also report that in an effort to move the deal along, the Old Lady may hand over Simone Zaza, Daniele Rugani, Stefano Sturaro and Roberto as part of the deal.
If the deal is rejected, Juventus may opt to pay Higuain’s release clause of €94m over two years. A meeting between the two clubs is scheduled to take place on Monday.
Huge news. Of all the names mentioned, I wouldn’t want to lose Rugani, and hopefully we can keep him for years to come. In my mind, there is no way Higuain is worth 94M, he’s worth more around 75M considering his age. I’d say if we offer 30M + Zaza + Pereyra and they don’t accept, we should move on.
I agree with you. And also giving them Rugani would be very stupid. Its too much money.
Rugani is not just the future, he is the present. There were too many times last season where we only had 3 CBs available, having 5 quality CBs in a 3-5-2 is a must.
If we are really willing to spend that much, id rather go for Kun Aguero
hell no Kun Aguero was a disaster at Copa America, If we are spending this much, Higuain is fine, all though for the money i rather Aubumeyang
Well not the 95M / or 75M+4players, but if its between Aguero and Higuain i 1million times over would buy Higuain, Aguero is more hype and overglorification and commercial than anything, in terms of form and how good he is he is nothing Special
Hmmm I think Aguero is an amazing player, but he could prove to be even more expensive as Man City don’t want to let him go. And despite all the talk of his age, Higuain is only 6 months older than Aguero. Also, I don’t know if Aguero would be willing to accept a salary cut in order to join us. Apart from all that, we know exactly how well Higuain can do in Serie A because we’ve seen it, whereas we would just have to assume Aguero will perform immediately. I think overall Higuain is the better signing for us, but I don’t think it will happen anyway. And for 94M, it shouldn’t happen.

i cannot imagine Higuain at juventus, and dont actually care for the thought. He is a great player, but would destroy the bank immedietally.
Next to this, Higuain has really not imressed me when it comes down to motivation and team spirit. At Napoli he is the big man, which allows him to sit up front and complain when things dont come his way. Doubt this kind of mentality is what juventus is looking for
My main hope remains Sanchez, although it seems very far now.

I don’t like this, Don’t get me wrong Higuain Is a great player and had an amazing Copa America, The thing is his salary is a bit high and he is way too damn expensive! Zaza-Rugani-Staruro and Roberto Peryra + 75M or the whole 94M: Just for Higuain???? that’s ridiculous!!!! if we are making a deal like that i rather have it be for the likes of Aubumeyang/ Lewandowski/ Muller or Suarez whom rank as the best undisputed current Strikers!
I still Hope we can get Alexis Sanches i rather him Than Higuain…But having Higuain will make us stronger..i just think his price is way way to expensive and would frankly be a stupid thing to do. Especially loosing Rugani; Zaza – Peryra and Staruro is fine, but not Rugani!!

Juve had the chance to sign higuain from real and also moved first. but Marrota rejected it because of his heavy price tag.Its media smokescreen.juve will never pay 94 mil release clause.
