Juventus are edging ever closer to a deal for Brazilian striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa with reports suggesting Santos have accepted a €20m bid.
According to globoesporte, Santos are happy with Juve’s €20m offer but want to hold talks with the player and his family.
Santos own 40% of the players rights while the Doyen group hold a further 20% and the player himself owning the remaining 40%.
With o Peixe agreeing to Juve’s offer, the player must now agree to the move and accept terms with the Bianconeri before any deal can go through.

This is gonna be a great buy if Juve can realise the deal. This kid is a Wonderkid and I’m of opinion that we must pay whatever the price is.
I have just read great things about this guy. As I always say, there is always two sides of a coin.

I agree with, but this is a judgement based on FM, and Football Manager rarely goes wrong on the wonderkids. I know you might find this childish, but over 2000 scout around the globe work on providing most realistic attributes for players on FM.
You can say that this is no real relevance, but Football Manager has became more than just a game.
Clubs like Chelsea and many other from Premier League and, around the globe us it for their scouting tool.
It’s like everything here in life. Progress is being made,and as new games are being released, the games are becoming more realistic and FM has always been a known game where you discover young, promising players and watch them prosper.
If this can be applied in real life I’m not certain. It’s a gamble. Just as it always is when you sign promising players. Most of the times it doesn’t work out. When it does, it’s like hitting the jackpot. Just look at Pogba.
We will hopefully live to see many more players such as a young Alessandro Del Piero prosper in our beloved team and stay for many many years.

I am a bit skeptical that this will actually materialize. I am not too fond of the way South american players are owned by so many separate entities. I don’t think we will get Barbosa or Higguain personally. All we need left is a striker, perhaps an upgrade to Mandzukic and Zaza but that would cost a ton of money. I am happy with the transfers so far, Pjaca will probably shine this season.

I believe Gabriel will be loaned out because he won’t be able to play this season as he’s not a EU-player. That was the reason for M.Pereira to be loaned out to Empoli.
