It’s been clear for months now that Fabio Quagliarella’s days at Juventus are numbered. His appearances shriveled up this year as new arrivals Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente firmly established themselves at the top of the striker pecking order. The only question was, where would Fabio’s next stop be? According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, both Sampdoria and Torio have made offers for the striker, but Torino are the more likely “winners” of this competition. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Quagliarella is already living in Turin, or that he is a Torino youth product.

Torino made a 2 million euro offer, but Juventus want at least four million. Supposedly a new offer is being readied, and the Sampdoria offer was just an attempt to capitalize on Torino’s lack of urgency. Regardless, Quagliarella seems certain to join Mirko Vucinic, amongst others, in the departures category for this summer.
