Juventus have confirmed Paul Pogba is ruled out for at least 50 days with a muscular injury.
Pogba limped off during Juve’s 3-0 Champions League victory against Borussia Dortmund and is almost certain to miss the remainder of the season.
It was reported the French midfielder had a slight muscular problem in training on Monday but started the game regardless.
A statement on the clubs official website confirmed the injury and the expected recovery time:
“Paul Pogba this afternoon underwent an MRI scan after coming off midway through the first half of last night’s Champions League match with Borussia Dortmund in Germany.” Read a statement on Juventus.com
“The scan revealed a grade two myotendinous junction tear of his biceps femoris. He is expected to return to competitive action within the next 50 days. “

Meanwhile Mancini doing what Mancini does best: being an utter failure in Europe. Inter out, Roma destroyed and Torino is also out, but they at least put up a fight.

Worst possible news for such a great player who has worked so hard for this team. I think it’s his first major injury which is a tough blow, but i can only hope he comes back stronger than before.
The estimate is 50 days so he wouldn;t be back until at least the first week of May.
But it’s Pogba, he’ll be back before.

Why do you say “and is almost certain to miss the remainder of the season”. Do you think he will miss the semis if we go through?? 🙁
It also says he will be back within 50 days. I’m not sure how many days it still is untill the semis, but a hamstring can be quite troublesome.
