Kingsley Coman is certain to be signed by Bayern Munich as Coach Carlo Ancelotti says the French winger “will definitely stay.”

There have been doubts over the future of Coman, especially as only played in a handful of fixtures this term, struggling to make an impact on the pitch and only scoring 2 goals in the one match against Hamburg.

There were suggestions that Bayern may pass on their option to sign the player, leaving a return to Juventus as a realistic possibility.

Despite his limited appearances, Ancelotti has confirmed that the player is part of the clubs plans and will remain in Germany beyond this season.

“We’re talking about a very important player for us, both for the present and future,” the Coach said at a Press conference.

“He’ll definitely will stay with us.”

Coman has been on a two-year loan deal at the German Champions, costing €7 million to be paid in two installments, with an option to buy outright for a further €21 million at the end of the loan-term.

There have been further tentative/speculative reports linking Coman with a move to the Premier League where Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in the 20-year-old Frenchman as a long term option on the wings where ex-Juve Coach Antonio Conte is in favour of using a 3-4-3 system.
