Juventus are accused of breaking their agreement with Paulo Dybala despite shaking hands on a deal back in October.
While it was previously reported that a verbal agreement was met, this is the first time I’m hearing that the parties shook hands on an agreement, which is a serious slap in the face.
The Argentine is now believed to be ready to leave for free this summer after we reduced our offer, and the club has also announced that they will not be entering into further discussions on a new contract.
Italian journalist Giancarlo Padovan has now named Barcelona, Inter or Tottenham Hotspur as potential destinations for the forward, before slamming Juve’s actions.
“Dybala? There’s Inter, and Tottenham are on him, Barcelona could be,” Padovan is quoted in TuttoNapoli He is associated with high-level teams. Juve behaved badly with Dybala, the agreement at Christmas was €8m, plus €2m in bonuses. It’s not a great thing to shake hands with the agent and the player and then change your mind.”
It certainly doesn’t sound good if we did in fact go back on an agreement after shaking hands on a deal, but there is always two sides to every coin, and Juve may well see the story as going differently.
Unofficially, it was reported that Juve’s issue was due to the agents fees involved in the deal, with the goalposts seemingly moved, but it seems as though we’ll never know exactly what went wrong with the talks.

i think not renewing dybala’s contract is a good decision
None of his business at all
These attacks on Juventus are getting very tiresome, no wonder there’s a disconnect and the azzurri failed with its lack of our players and mancini and his favoritism of the mediocre. Tired of us keeping Serie a relevant. Might be failing in cl but still always doing the best in Italy
Always with the clubs with its decisions
Unfortunatly it’s true.
They had made a verbal agreement
& then Juve went bsck on its word.
It’s all true.
As much as I love Juve it’s just not the right thing to do (it’s shameful).
& now we’re losing the (by far) most creative player in the squad.
I hope it doesn, t come back to bite us Pirlo way (from AC Milan on a free transfer & wupti Juve was champions for years)
I don’t believe a single word that comes out of the mouth of anyone in Juve management. Agnelli, Arrivabene are worthless liars. Nobody is bigger than the club, not even these two losers.
Dybala proved his loyalty over and over, and was rewarded with nothing.
Until this management team is canned, nothing will change for the club.
I agree with you John D the Juve management are a bunch of idiots, how could you treat your players like SHIT & expect future players to join your team, the whole management team needs to leave the club, Juve will suffer, mark my words they are the ones who blite the team not Dabyla & company, look at how Juve loss important players so close to qualifying for CL, that is a clear sign, because Max is trying his best, trust me Juve gone to the DOGS

The negotiations with Dybala started back in 2018. That is 4 years ago. He was in form back then. You might have already forgot, but I’ll remind you. First he wanted 15M a season. Then he realized it’s way too much and asked 12+bonuses. Then they agreed on 8+2M. Then the 7.5+bonuses and the famous look into the stands. And then 7+3M. For a player that spends half a season injured is too much. I like Dybala, but if Paulo loves Juve and would help the club in a crisis situation – then why asking so much money? I find Chiesa and Locatelli deserve much more than Dybala. All this arrogance is because of CR7 presence and Paraticis useless management. That 8s why Marotta left, that is why many opposed CR7 arrival. Juve is a top class club, but with no top class team. We need champions that fight for the shirt, and not for money
Ros, I understand your argument. This is all about the mismanagement of the team. Argue what you may about a players worth or what he deserves, but injuries aside, Dybala has been loyal to the club and the badge, and the club has not shown him the same. Especially if its true that they had an agreement and Juve reneged. I would also ask you, are comfortable paying Rabiot 7M next year? Or Ramsey 7M, because he is still a Juve player on loan, and will be back at the Continassa should Rangers dump him.
In terms of injuries, I will point out that Dybala’s injuries over the past 2.5 seasons, excluding Covid have all been muscular. That is an issue with the clubs training regiment, as it seems that almost every Juve injury is a muscular issue.
Either way, this is life, and Dybala will land on his feet and hopefully play for a team that values his talents and professionalism.
As far as Agnelli, Arrivabene, Nedved, it’s time for them all to leave. 4 years ago, they decided to spend 100M and 30M yearly on CR7 for the flash and the belief he was a missing piece to the puzzle. Well he wasn’t, because you need a team to win UCL, not a single player.

THIS!!!!
???
The first 5 seasons Dybala has hartly been injured
Why this lie about always injured?
In the first 5 seasons he had around 1-3 minor injuries costting a handfull of days
Then last season he had a freak season with 1st Covid 19 costing a lot of matchdays
& a career threatning knee injury
= an abnormal seaaon
This season, is the first (regular) season where he actually has had many injuries
= 1 season with many injuries, otherwise he’s normally never really injured.
Stop this false injury myth.
Dybala is made from glass
Personally missing you already Paulo…. all the best..
