Juventus stunned Inter Milan with a 1-0 victory to move back into the top four this evening, thanks to a Francisco Conceição goal.
Juventus were aiming for a fourth consecutive win, but Inter Milan began determined to disrupt their momentum. The Nerazzurri dominated the early stages and nearly took the lead in the 19th minute, but Mehdi Taremi was denied superbly by Michele Di Gregorio.
Three minutes later, Francisco Conceição forced a stunning save from Yann Sommer as Juventus responded. However, Inter continued to control the opening half, pinning Juve back in their own area and making it difficult for them to maintain possession.
Randal Kolo Muani and Federico Dimarco both came close to scoring inside the half-hour mark, increasing the pressure on the visitors. Just before the break, Denzel Dumfries was unfortunate to see his effort ricochet off the post, and the sides went into half-time goalless.

Juventus began the second half with far more intent than they had shown in the first, applying pressure on Inter and holding possession more effectively. That persistence was rewarded when Kolo Muani provided a superb assist for Conceição, who slotted in the opener.
Three minutes later, Juventus were inches away from doubling their lead, but Dumfries produced a vital goal-line clearance to deny Teun Koopmeiners.
Inter Milan pushed hard to find an equaliser, but Juventus defended resolutely and were not afraid to create further chances. Muani had another fine opportunity to extend their lead but was unable to convert.
Ultimately, the Bianconeri did not need another goal, seeing out the match to secure a vital victory and extend their winning run.
Inter dominated the first half and wasted couple of chances. But the second half was a disaster. The squad is too old to play the consistent way. They didn’t play the middle week game but looked more exhausted in the second half. When you realize Barella is a 28 years old boy and the much younger one of the trio, you found the answer in such a physical and mental game. Frattesi and Asllani are complete failure. Inter will struggle more in the following seasons if they can’t solve the age issue.
As for Juven, Savona is as bad as usual. He did work hard but he’s serie b level. Koop can’t play as the anchor. Neither DM nor AM. He is a CM or free role to balance the midfield.
Another game proved the loan players have better quality than existing squad, which explains struggling in UCL. Players are not good enough.
The first half was awful, but in the 2nd half Juve dominated inter. Even if the result doesn’t show it.
We can build on the second half, inter had no chance there, it was only ego that carried them forward. Juve’s midfield was terrible in the first half, but in the second half they destroyed inter’s midfield.
Maybe if we slowly but surely return to the direction we left after the match against Leipzig.
There were some mistakes that still need to be fixed, but I definitely enjoyed the second half. The team’s attitude was good then.
Congratulations to the Bianconeri for the victory last evening. Impressive performances from Conceicao, Thuram, Gatti, Weah and Di Gregorio. Perhaps the change in formation worked. Hope to see even better from Juve ahead.
