Juventus are monitoring the situation of James Rodriguez who could return to Real Madrid this summer.
The Colombian is reportedly on the market this summer while Juventus are also looking to strengthen their team for another Champions League push next season with many football betting odds making them among the favourites again.
According to Sky Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano, super-agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly included the name of James Rodriguez on numerous occasions in his discussions with Juventus director Fabio Paratici as there are no guarantees that Bayern Munich will activate their option to buy the player.
Reports suggest Rodriguez and coach Zinedine Zidane didn’t see eye-to-eye, which has led to the idea of Rodriguez leaving this summer, should he not stay in Germany.
Despite this, Juve have apparently prioritized Benfica forward Joao Felix in negotiations with Mendes but James is still an idea for the Bianconeri, despite not being a priority in the immediate future.
For now, Rodriguez remains an idea for Juve while they continue to focus on the likes of Isco and Pogba, but in the background, there may still be the possibility of James becoming a concrete target for the club.
