Juventus has been linked with a move for Antonio Conte as Max Allegri struggles to keep his job.
The Bianconeri gaffer returned to the club in the last campaign and has not improved the team since then.
They finished the last term without winning a trophy and this one could end similarly, and that has increased the pressure on the club to sack Allegri.
There are a few managers out there that could replace him and one man the Bianconeri fans would like to see on their bench is Conte.
He started their dominance of the Italian game before leaving in 2014 and remains one man loved by many back in Turin.
Their chances of making him their next boss have been boosted as fans turned against the Tottenham boss at the weekend after his team lost again, as reported by TuttoJuve.
This could frustrate him out of the club if his team cannot return to form.
Juve FC Says
Conte had a good time as our manager and has had a good career outside Turin.
Bringing him back to the club could return us to the glory days and makes things better, but Allegri might keep his job if results improve.
Player reaction persuaded Joan Laporta to appoint Xavi Hernandez over Andrea Pirlo
Don’t talk rubbish Conte is happy at Spurs, there is an option for him to extend his stay another year and I wouldn’t be surprised if he signs another contract ,most Tottenham supporters really want him to carry on doing what he’s doing
Lol, every single reports indicates Conte will leave at the end of the season.
There’s absolutely no truth about an option to extend.
Dude isn’t happy, he dines with $10 in a $100 restaurant, just like at Juve and no one is giving him more money for transfers/players.
Same old story, same old Conte – 2 years in a club and then bails so he can mask his shortcomings as a coach.
Conte holds grudges like an old bat woman. He will never forget what happened between him and Agnelli in 2014. For this reasons alone I am almost certain he wont return as long as Agnelli is president. Also Conte is never at a club more that a couple of seasons and demands high level transfers. Not to speak about Conte and his salary. Only reason I can see him go back is to come help the team who gave him all as a player. But he already have done this. I cant see this reunion happening.
Hope he ain’t coming back.
He is too limited when it comes to tactics. As a coach, he’ll drill the players nicely, but we’ll fail in every Cup competition with him at the charge.
Agree, as a drill and league coach with one game a week he is among the best. But still to stiff and flexibly to succed in europe even after all this years. I wish for a long term builder of a coach who can develope players. Think that would work better with Juves current finances. But there is always risks and not many coaches available.
Yeah it’s puzzling to see how Conte hasn’t upgraded his knowledge as years go by.
I think he’s insecure and knows his shortcomings, hence why he bounces after 2 years with a club – he knows he’ll get revealed for not being tactically astute, and always states “lack of transfers/new players” to upgrade his squad as the decision for parting ways.
Yeah I think your on to something there.
