Juventus have confirmed that Sami Khedira’s operation has been successful however he is expected to miss at least three months of the season.
The German midfielder underwent an operation in Germany earlier today and the club have since confirmed the outcome and the expected recovery time:
The arthroscopic “cleaning” intervention of Sami Khedira’s left knee took place today in Augsburg, Germany.
The operation, carried out by Dr. Ulrich Boenisch, in the presence of Club Doctor, Nikos Tzouroudis was perfectly successful and the player will be able to start rehabilitation immediately. The expected recovery time is around three months.
