Verona defender Marash Kumbulla reveals he had a poster of Giorgio Chiellini on his wall as a child, calling the Juve veteran his idol.
The Bianconeri have been linked with the young defender following his breakthrough season with the Gialloblu where he’s played a key-role in their push to 8th place in the standings.
“As a young lad, I had a poster of Chiellini in my bedroom,” he told Corriere della Sera.
“I’ve always admired his determination and desire to improve. He’s a real warrior on the field.
“The striker who has put me in most trouble so far is Dybala due to his physical and technical characteristics. He’s like a tightrope walker. My dream is to play in the Champions League.
“I’m proud of Prime Minister Rama’s gesture at such a difficult time for Italy, which has always been by our side whenever we needed them.
“I thank him and the doctors who have come over from Albania.”
