Marko Pjaca to complete Juventus move

July 19, 2016 - 1:37 pm

Marko Pjaca is finally set to join Juventus, confirming that he’ll be playing  his last game for Dinamo tomorrow.

The talented winger has long been expected to join the Bianconeri and looks set to complete his medical on Thursday.

“On Wednesday I’ll play my last game for Dinamo and then I’ll move to my preferred club,” Pjaca told the Croatian media.

“Dinamo is the team I love, the one I’ve been a fan of since I was born and I’m grateful for everything.

“Where am I going? You’ll find out in a few days. I want to say a big thanks to Dinamo, it was a dream to play in the Maksimir Stadium and to win trophies with this club.

“I have mixed feelings, I’m sad because I’m leaving my club but I’m happy to be starting a new chapter in my career.”

Excited to see what the lad can do.

Don’t know anything about him, except what I have read.

Hopefully he will wow me and the rest of the Juventus family.

Only saw his sub performance against Portugal myself, it was brief but impressive. Apparently Juve has been keeping an eye on him for the last 4 years, so pretty sure this will turn out well!

Juventus refused the first offer from man unt for pogba apperentally.
    They offered 119 km
People in the netherlands are going crazy for the amount of money being spilled for this transfer, and i completely agree with them. But what they dont see is that pogba is content, huge role in the team, and has the potential to become an all start.

Now raiola claims pogba has set his sights on a transfer to manchester.. this makes me worried that we will have to invest mass capital to compesate it. Not that 120+ million doesnt sound smoothe , but its a gap to be filled.

Any claim that we want to win the CL will come under fire when losing such a essential part of the team, especially since the transition from pirlo, tevez, vidal era to the pogba 10 phase.

    Personally,
We can compensate by splashing money (if only we do not get higuain…. not convinced) but ultimetally i would like to see this team stay intact, and then i see our chances for a potential final in the CL far greater.

    Dani alves, pjanca, pianic
All great signings that, if pogba would stay, would mark the best team ive seen in a long long time. The sheer amount of talent, community, but also depth is at risk, when ind these moments you sell your best players.

Pogab stays one more year, wins CL, and then can go for 160 m

    A man can dream

Moggi shared his view on this too and though I don’t agree with what he said, there is a certain logic behind it. He said he would sell Pogba and get Higuain and Herrera from Porto with the money. Higuain as the more impactful player and making our attack really strong plus Herrera to replace Pogba in the midfield.

I would still rather keep Pogba, but if the transfer does happen, we should opt for a scenario like this, in my view.

A true elite striker and a CM to replace Pogba who is at the least capable of challenging for a starting position. Not a gap filler.

I agree with moggi towards the respect that we can now get a 50/60m + attacker to join the group. Unfortunetally i do not see higuain in the same light as the rest. Sure he will score 25+ goals, but what imapct will his personality have on the group?
Right now everyone seems to have a great community feeling. There are little to no alpha males, and no one came over with a huge price tag of 90mil, and a salary that touches almsost the 10mil. . I would like to see that stay at least for a couple more years..
If pogba goes, alexis sanchez should come, amd possibly hererra as moggi stated.

But when i see higuain play i see two faces: him smiling because he has scored, or him upset because no one gives him the ball.
The man is great, but has a very high opinion of himself
