Fiorentina have moved for Parma striker Mateo Pellegrino, a player who had also been pursued by Juventus.
According to Sportmediaset, citing Nicolò Schira, Fiorentina and Parma are working on a deal structured as an initial loan with an obligation to buy. The overall package for the Argentine forward is expected to be around €30 million.
Fiorentina work on Pellegrino deal
Sportmediaset reported that Juventus had also been working on Pellegrino, but that the striker appeared to be heading towards Fiorentina.
In a later update, Goal reported that Parma were close to signing Tigre forward David Romero. Goal said Romero’s possible arrival could affect Parma’s outgoing business and potentially facilitate a sale of Pellegrino.
Goal also reported that Juventus were continuing to track Pellegrino, but would need to reduce their attacking department before making concrete moves for the forward.
