Juve’s 2014/15 season “will go down in history” according to Bianconeri boss Max Allegri.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final, the Juve coach spoke of the significance of the current season while discussing how to contain a player like Lionel Messi.

“This season will go down in history,” Allegri said at a pre-match Press conference today.

“It’s not often a team gets to this point in three separate competitions. Winning the Champions League final would be a more than extraordinary feat.

“It’d be the perfect way to round off a magnificent season. The final could go to penalties, even though I think that’s unlikely. We’ll be prepared for any eventuality.

“We’re aware of how good we are and know we’re capable of giving a decent account of ourselves.
