Despite Premier League interest in recent months, Juventus will not be selling Turkish defender Merih Demiral.

The 22-year-old has been in demand since joining the Bianconeri last summer, especially since his impressive performances at the end of 2019.

According to Goal Italia journalist Romeo Agresti, Juve turned down offers from Milan, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund last summer as well as January offers from Leicester City.

Despite being injured since the beginning of the year, Demiral continues to be of interest to a number of clubs, including some Premier League sides with certain intermediaries having made enquiries in recent months.

Even with strong interest, Juve’s position is clear: Demiral is not for sale and the decision will not change as the club look to the young defender as a long-term investment for the future.
