Juventus have confirmed the sale of Mirko Vucinic to Abu Dhabi side Al Jazira Club.
The club confirmed the Montenegrin’s departure via their official site earlier today:
“Juventus Football Club can confirm that Mirko Vucinic has ended his three-year stay in Turin after a fee of €6.3 million was agreed for the striker’s permanent transfer to Abu Dhabi-based club Al Jazira. “
30 year-old Vucninc was in and out of Conte’s team last season and struggled to force himself back into the team following the arrival of Carlos Tevez. The striker scored 21 times in 74 games for Bianconeri over a three year period that saw him lift three successive scudetti and two SuperCoppa. Ciao Mirko !

Thanks for everything Mirko!
I dont know where to post WC related content, so ill just post it here:
So i havent been watching many Argentina games and i wanna know… Have they been Messi “dependent”? Everyone from damn espn wont stop saying that and its getting annoying. Every 3rd sentence about Arg is about how theyre so dependent on Messi. I wouldnt be surprised if they have their playing system to best compliment Messi, but are they really Messi dependent?
yea pretty much. get the ball and they look for messi. it’s also the reason why they’ve been playing poorly
Yea i noticed that… But its stupid to call them Messi “dependent” when in reality, they base their system around him. Its two different things and considering espn act as his advertisement campaign; clueless people will get brainwashed. I swear some sports analysts are paid to say certain things. The 2nd goal came about due to a deflection and all credit goes to Messi, yet they forgot to mention that Messi went missing for close to all of the 2nd half.
I really hope argentina dont get to the final or we ll never hear the end of all this messi rubbish.
same. also di maria got injured. im hoping for the dutch to win now that france are out
If Argentina win, brazil will riot! As long as brazil don’t win I’ll be happy enough though. Ideally Argentina for me though.. Hopefully no riots though
That is an early retirement Mirko , but anyway this is your choice , Arabic fans are lucky to watch you playing in Abu-Dhabi
Just read today that United will pay £50M + Nani for the ownership of Vidal.
And if Juve accept the money will probably be spent to bring in Sanchez.
That would be an awful deal on our part

I thought it’s best to post this here so you can all read and recirculate.
I’ve had a few emails fro people asking why the site as changed and why there is not one place where people can easily post.
The sites old format was the same as it is now, the difference is, we didn’t report on as much. We had one match thread a week and everyone posted there which is why it was easy to follow.
As this site has slid down the rankings after i removed it recently, it has been a struggle to get it back to its previous ranking. In order to do that, i made the decision to post more frequently, and more often. there’s a lot of news, especially during the summer as so much is happening on the transfer market. We, as a site, need to be posting often, as Juventus is out primary focus.
I understand the need to comment and have an ongoing debate and discussion, but the point is, when i post news here, the discussion should be relevant to the topic, not about something else or some other club that has nothing to do with Juventus.
As such, i’ve taken more precious time and set up a new forum which should be live soon – You are all encouraged to go there and register. You can use it for what you like as often and frequently as you like.
I am a little annoyed that so many people are complaining and telling me that they don’t come here for the articles we post. That’s insulting to all the hard work that i, David and Enrico put into the site.
I started the site in 2001 and at one stage, we were the only site that was still operating in this format, offering English language Juventus news. We were still live when Juve were in Serie B and we were still covering club news.
This site has always been a labour of love for me. We lost lots of users as social media and rival sites started to emerge. I have no problem with that. people are free to do with as they please, but i also ask that you remember that this site is maintained by people that are not paid to do so. they do it out of their own love for the club and in their own free time. Please try and respect that.
I would also ask that even with a forum, you still try and post here on the stories and keep your comments relevant to the stories posted.
If you have constructive feedback, i always value it.
Thanks
Im strongly against the forum as it never worked out in the past, But i really enjoy this site and its not a difficult thing to at least post one comment on each new thread. I mean i do like the irrelevant convos, but if this site needs to stay more on topic, im ok with putting off topic comments to the side.
Im going to try my best to comment as much as possible, but my creative juices have been running low since ive started working again.
Really appreciate it John – I’ve set up a forum and we will see how it goes – Personally, i think it’s straightforward enough to comment on the most active stories – but others disagree. so we’ll try the forum as well – it will mean two places to comment on but we’ll try it for now
To be honest, I personally think that it would be a better solution to keep discussing whatever the news posted by you (the moderator) brings to the reader’s mind on the given thread.
It’s hard to draw the line when the discussion is starting to become irrelevant as you know, one thing leads to another.
But if you mean that the new forum is for posting something you’ve read, heard or whatever, that’s a completely different matter. I posted something I’ve read, earlier today here on the thread. And if it would make people happy to move it to another place, I’d go do it somewhere else, no problem.
But the lively discussions which could start off with Mirko being sold and ending up in which new goalie we should bring in, should be allowed here. That’s just my thought on the matter tho’.
I’d love to hear what’s your thoughts are on that.
Im pretty sure it wouldnt be a problem if we stay pretty close to the topic. Like you said, sometimes one thing can lead to another, but if its pretty close to the topic of the thread, im sure its alright. Idk if you remember, but a few others and i can get massively off topic.
I agree with you , even if I’m a new member , I feel excited about this new forum !!!
Thank you for your efforts
Thank you sir!
NEw Forum is live
Forum already full of spam – I don’t have time to moderate and maintain it. I;m going to give it a week and see how many people join and use it. If its not worth while, i’ll just delete it
