Paratici: ‘No time limit on new coach’

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici says “there is no time limit” on appointing and naming the new coach.

The Bianconeri have been closely linked to Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri but parts of the Italian press still believe that there may be a chance of securing Mauricio Pochettino or Pep Guardiola.

“There is a range of coaches we are evaluating, we have clear ideas and we are working,” Paratici told journalists at the Football Leader event in Naples.

“There is no time limit, a little time is needed, then we will know the new coach. We are working and we are working calmly.”

Paratici was asked about Maurizio’s Sarri’s comments about missing Italy, hinting at a possible return to Serie A.

“He said it, but all Italians say it. Here we eat very well! Sarri to Juve after having coach Napoli? I have many friends here, these days I have disconnected a little and read as little as possible.

“Chiesa? We certainly have a competitive team, as far as the market is concerned, we await the name of the coach. We will make the necessary assessments after announcing it.”
