Pastorello: ‘Emre Can will join Juventus’

February 17, 2018 - 10:03 am

Juventus have secured Emre Can on a free transfer in the summer, according to football agent Federico Pastorello.

The German international looks almost certain to leave Liverpool when his contract expires in June and Juventus are reportedly his next club.

“Juve tried to sign Emre Can in January, but from what I hear, he is certainly going to be their player next season,” Pastorello told Rai Sport.

“The rumours I am party to say that the player wants to join Juventus. I think it’s wise, because Juve are certainly the most international Italian club at the moment.

“Emre Can would be a great addition, as he is a player worth €40m on the market, so getting him for free deserves credit.”

Sell Khedira and Sturaro and buy Fabinho 40-50 mill and Emre Can. Though Savic 90-100 mill would be a dream. Then splash 30-40 on a top ten right back and keep Sandro and Dybala no matter what. Then we are fine.
Then in 2019 splash the cash on a striker.

Savic would be just the man we need.Savic, Pjanic,Mandragora for next season as our midfield trio plus Claudio, Bentancur and Can as subs.We need to invest into our midfield. It is our weakest area no doubt.I would even sell Higuain cos this guy frustrate me as fuck,Mandzukic as well.Put Dybala as our main striker and Costa&Bernardeschi behind him. With Pjaca back and Cuadrado we would be fine up front, maybe one back up striker would make it better. So the last thing we should and must fix is RB.But i have no idea who should we go for.
So all in all, after selling Higuain,Sturaro and Mandzukic we could get Savic and the RB so we talk about 30-40m.

Agree 100 per cent. Though Dybala needs a rest now and then. Then who? Moise Kean? Mandzukic and Higuain aren’t getting any younger 🙁

I dont know if Kean is ready for such club like Juve.Maybe one more year on loan would be better choice but maybe he would surprise us all at Juve. The worse thing about Higuain and Mandzukic is, they are not even getting any better.

They won’t sell Gonzo as they paid way over the odds for him, and would have to take an enormous loss after just two seasons. He will be kept on to depreciate gradually to zero value i’d imagine around age 32/33, and then let go on a free.

yep i know we wont sell the pig .thats how we usualy do with expensive signings, we let them lose their price then loan them to some turkish shit with 5m option to buy.such a marotta esque lol , but i have to add that expensive signing in our case mean anything over 20m(Melo,Diego,Amauri)cos we barely pay 30m except Dybala,Pjanic,Costa,Bernardeschi,Gigi and the pig.

Why are people so opposed to Mattia De Sciglio? He’s been exceptional this season.

His style may not be flashy like Sandro, he may not have the grinta of a Vidal, however his defensive duty is super effective and he’s good on the ball. We may just need a back-up to Mattia, however it would be difficult and expensive to find an improvement, especially considering the improbabilities of signing any of Real/Barca/Bayern/EPL’s top players.

Can is too inconsistent. Liverpool will be better with Naby Keita next season, that’s why they let him go for free.

This is 50|50 at best, Can is playing the game. Clearly he’s waiting for the summer to see if there’s more money out there. There’s no loyalty in today’s football and you can’t blame the players for it, way too much money in the game.
